In a suburb outside of Houston you'll find this... our house. We signed the papers on September 1, 2011 and moved in shortly after. However, our move wasn't just across town, or even across the state. We left our families, friends, jobs, and sold most of our belongings in order to pick up and move half-way across the country from NJ to TX. Did I mention that we had never been to Texas before? That's a key part of our story. The first time we set foot on Houston soil was when we came down to buy a house.
This house was more than just a home, it was a new beginning. We've been here nearly four years now, and can't see ourselves ever living anywhere else. Texas has been good to us, and we're not going anywhere.
